About Me
Hey! My name's Katie and I'm an animator currently working at Newscape Studios. I've worked on student films, games, commercials, and youtube animations. I'm interested in bringing fantastic worlds and charming characters to life through smooth animations and resonant stories. One of the characters is Redino- the little red dinosaur seen all over this website who's joined me on my journey through animation school and beyond! He's the main character in the most extensive project I've done on my own: a short film following Redino and his roommates on their quest to find a new home. This was my thesis film at DePaul University where I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Animation with honors distinction. I'm always looking to improve my animation skills through more and more ambitious projects!
